The mounting point was specified for a changeover a single operator can carry out at the machine. The attachment is secured on both sides of the mounting frame and driven by one belt from the host engine, with the same tensioner serving whichever head is fitted.

What the second use is worth

Put in fleet terms, one chassis with two attachments covers work that would otherwise call for a second machine — and it does so without a second engine, a second undercarriage or a second control set.
