VOER 1000T-Pro: Tracked Snow Throwing for Ground a Truck Plow Cannot Reach

VOER 1000T-Pro: Tracked Snow Throwing for Ground a Truck Plow Cannot Reach

1,000 mm of clearance per pass, a working depth of 2 to 60 cm and a throw of up to 15 m from a 360 degree chute — worked from a 500 m handset on a 15 HP Loncin platform that climbs to 45 degrees.

VOER Equipment  |  Snow Clearance  |  October 2026

The ground that causes the most trouble in winter is rarely the ground a plow truck is built for. It is the long private driveway with a gate at the far end. The shared lane between properties. The ramp down to a loading area. The parking rows where a plow cannot turn. The bank behind a building, and the slope in front of it. A truck plow needs width and somewhere to put the snow; a walk-behind blower needs an operator pushing it and will not hold a gradient. Those areas are either cleared by hand, late, or not at all.

The VOER 1000T-Pro is a remote-controlled crawler snow thrower built for that ground. It clears a 1,000 mm (39.37 in.) width to a working depth of 2 to 60 cm (0.79 to 23.62 in.) and throws the snow up to 15 m through a 360 degree chute. It runs on tracks, climbs up to 45 degrees, and is driven from a 500 m handset that also controls the chute lift — so the operator works the machine from clear of the discharge rather than standing behind it in the weather.

What follows is the specification as it stands: clearance, traction, the handset, power and drive, and the front-mounted mower head that lets the same machine work outside the snow season.

01  —  The access problem the machine is built around

A plow truck is limited by three things: its width, its turning circle and where it can push the snow to. Where any of those three runs out, the truck either cannot enter or leaves the snow in a place that creates a second problem. A walk-behind blower solves the width problem but introduces two others: it needs someone walking behind it, and it loses traction on any real gradient.

The 1000T-Pro is a different answer to the same constraint. It is narrow enough to work between gates and parked vehicles, it puts a working width of 1,000 mm on the ground in a single pass, it throws the snow clear rather than banking it, and it does all of that without anyone walking behind it.

The ground

Why a truck plow does not fit

Why a walk-behind does not fit

Long private driveways with a gate

Width and turning room, and the snow has nowhere to be banked

Distance — the operator walks the whole length, twice, in each fall

Shared lanes between properties

Too narrow, and banking snow against a boundary causes disputes

Traction on any gradient, and no way to throw snow over a boundary

Ramps and loading aprons

Gradient and available turning space

Cannot hold a gradient, and the operator is on foot on it

Parking rows and enclosed yards

Cannot turn inside the row or reach the end bays

Slow, and the operator is working around parked vehicles

Banks, verges and slopes

Gradient alone rules it out

Gradient again — the machine is pushed, not driven

Paved areas with fixed ironwork

The blade edge and the surface itself

Workable, but the whole area is done by hand afterwards

What it decides:  whether the ground gets cleared at all, or gets done by hand after the parts a machine can reach.

02  —  Clearance: width, depth and where the snow goes

The machine's working figures are set out below. The two that change what an operator can do are the working depth and the chute rotation: depth decides how much of a fall can be taken in one pass, and the rotating chute decides which direction the snow leaves in — which is usually the difference between a cleared driveway and a cleared driveway with a wall of snow in front of the garage.

Working figure

Specification

What it means on the ground

Clearing width

1,000 mm (39.37 in.)

One pass covers a driveway, a footpath or a parking bay; the width sets how many passes a given area takes

Working depth

2 to 60 cm (0.79 to 23.62 in.)

A fall across the whole range is taken in one pass rather than in layers, so the surface is opened rather than shaved

Throwing distance

Up to 15 m

Snow can be placed away from the working area instead of banked at its edge — which is what keeps a driveway usable

Chute rotation

360 degrees, set from the handset

Discharge direction is changed without leaving the control position, so the throw can be aimed away from doors, walls, vehicles and walkways

Chute lift

Remote controlled

The discharge height is adjusted from the handset rather than by walking to the machine

What it decides:  how much of one fall is taken per pass, and where the snow ends up when the pass is finished.

03  —  Traction: what tracked running gear and 45 degrees change

Traction is the figure that decides whether a machine is usable on the ground it was bought for. Two 500 W electric track motors drive 120 mm tracks, and the machine is rated to climb up to 45 degrees. On packed snow and ice, and on wet ground under snow, that is the difference between a machine that works and a machine that has to be pushed.

Tracks also spread the machine's 294 kg over a longer contact area than wheels would, which matters on soft or unmade ground and on gravel that a wheeled machine would dig into. The same property is what holds a line on a cross-slope, so the clearing width stays even instead of the machine sliding downhill across its own pass.

The electric track drive is also what makes the machine practical to work remotely. Steering, speed and direction are set steplessly from the handset, so the operator can adjust the machine's line to the surface rather than committing to a fixed path.

What it decides:  whether the machine can be used on the gradient and the surface the site actually has, rather than only on the parts of it that are flat.

04  —  Working from the handset

The 1000T-Pro is worked from a handset with a rated range of 500 m. The range is a control limit rather than a working distance: the machine has to stay in clear line of sight, and terrain, buildings, planting and parked vehicles shorten the useful distance well before the rating runs out. In practice the operator moves with the machine and works from whatever position keeps the discharge and the working face in view.

What the handset changes is the operator's position. On a walk-behind machine the operator stands behind the discharge, in the cold, on the same gradient the machine is working. Here the operator stands clear of the discharge and off the gradient, and can change the chute direction, the chute lift and the machine's line without walking back to it. The machine can be started from the handset, from the key or by recoil pull, so a cold start does not depend on one method alone.

What it decides:  where the operator stands while the work is done — which is a safety decision before it is a comfort one.

05  —  Power, drive and the working day

The snow head is driven from the host engine: a Loncin 420 four-stroke rated at 15 HP / 420 cc and certified to EPA / Euro 5, fed from a 6.5 L fuel tank. Track drive is separate and electric — two 500 W motors on 120 mm tracks, supplied by a 24 V 20 Ah battery and a 27 V 2,000 W generator. Keeping the two systems apart is what lets the track drive hold its steering and speed control while the snow head is working at full load, which is exactly the condition where a single mechanical system has least to spare.

For the operator the practical figures are the fuel tank and the stepless transmission. 6.5 L is enough for a working day without a refuelling stop in the middle of a fall, and because the transmission is infinitely variable with remote-controlled lift, speed and head height are set continuously from the handset rather than from a fixed set of gears.

The machine measures 1,460 x 1,060 x 860 mm and weighs 294 kg net. For transport and shipping, the host and snow head pack at 1,660 x 1,160 x 1,060 mm and 340 kg gross, at 12 units per 20 ft container or 28 units per 40 ft — figures a fleet or distribution buyer needs before ordering rather than afterwards.

What it decides:  whether the machine can work a full shift on one tank and hold its control under load — the two conditions that decide whether it is used on the small jobs or on the whole site.

06  —  The second season: the 800 mm mower head

The 1000T-Pro's front mounting point also takes an 800 mm (31.5 in.) mower head. It cuts at a height of 20 to 120 mm (0.79 to 4.72 in.) on a straight blade, and is driven by a belt from the host engine, set by the same belt tensioner used for the snow head. The header is supplied separately from the host machine and packs at 1,020 x 950 x 600 mm, 110 kg.

For buyers whose season ends when the snow does, the point of the second head is not that the machine can cut grass. It is that the same chassis, the same tracks, the same handset and the same operator cover the grounds-maintenance side of the year, so the machine is not parked for the greater part of it. Changeover is confined to the front attachment and its drive belt: no specialist tooling is required, and nothing behind the mounting frame is adjusted.

What it decides:  how much of the year the machine is earning — which is a different question from how well it throws snow.

Where the 1000T-Pro fits

Site or duty

Why this machine rather than a plow or a walk-behind

Long private driveways and gated access

Clears the full width in one pass and throws the snow clear of the driveway instead of banking it at the gate

Shared lanes and private roads

Narrow enough to work between boundaries, and the 360 degree chute keeps the throw inside the site rather than over a fence

Ramps, banks and sloped ground

Rated to climb up to 45 degrees on tracks, with the operator off the gradient rather than on it

Parking areas and enclosed yards

Reaches the end bays and the rows a plow cannot turn inside, and works around parked vehicles from the handset

Commercial and municipal grounds

One operator, one handset, and a working depth that takes a full fall in a single pass across a long frontage

Sites that need year-round equipment use

The same chassis takes the 800 mm mower head for grounds maintenance once the snow season ends

Operating notes

● Keep the machine in clear line of sight while operating. The 500 m control range is an operating limit, not a working distance; shorten it wherever terrain, trees or structures break the view.

● Never allow anyone to stand in line with the discharge chute. Set the chute direction before the pass, not during it.

● Stop the engine before clearing a blockage, or before inspecting or working on the snow head or the mower head.

● Keep all guards and shields fitted whenever the engine is running.

● Wear eye and hearing protection when working close to the machine.

● On gradients, work across or down the slope as the surface allows, and keep the machine below the operator's position rather than above it.

● Before working on the front mounting point, park on level ground, stop the engine and set the parking brake.

● Check the discharge area for people, glass, vehicles and building faces before the first pass of a session, and again whenever the working direction changes.

What is the VOER 1000T-Pro?

A remote-controlled crawler snow thrower: a 1,000 mm clearing width, a working depth of 2 to 60 cm and a throw of up to 15 m from a 360 degree chute, worked from a 500 m handset.

How deep a fall can it take?

A working depth of 2 to 60 cm. That range covers a fall in one pass rather than in layers, which is what keeps a long driveway usable through a storm rather than at the end of it.

What is the remote control range?

The handset is rated to 500 m. That is a control limit rather than a working distance — the machine has to stay in clear line of sight, and obstructions shorten the useful range.

Can it work on a slope?

It is rated to climb up to 45 degrees on 120 mm tracks driven by two 500 W electric motors. Rated climbing ability is not the same as a recommendation to work every surface condition at that angle; the operator judges the surface, not just the gradient.

Does it need two people?

No. One operator works the machine from the handset, positioned clear of the discharge.

What powers it?

A Loncin 420 engine rated at 15 HP / 420 cc and certified to EPA / Euro 5 drives the snow head, on a 6.5 L fuel tank. Track drive is electric: two 500 W motors supplied by a 24 V 20 Ah battery and a 27 V 2,000 W generator.

What happens to snow that is thrown?

The chute rotates a full 360 degrees and is set from the handset, and the throw reaches up to 15 m. That lets the discharge be aimed away from doors, walls, vehicles and walkways, and the snow placed away from the area being cleared.

Can the machine be used outside winter?

Yes. The same front mounting point takes an 800 mm mower head cutting at 20 to 120 mm on a straight blade, belt driven from the host engine. The head is supplied separately.

Summary

The 1000T-Pro is a remote-controlled crawler snow thrower for the ground a plow truck cannot enter and a walk-behind cannot climb: long driveways, shared lanes, ramps, banks, parking rows and enclosed yards.

It clears a 1,000 mm width to a working depth of 2 to 60 cm and throws snow up to 15 m through a 360 degree chute set from the handset. It runs on 120 mm tracks driven by two 500 W electric motors, climbs up to 45 degrees, and is powered by a 15 HP / 420 cc Loncin 420 engine certified to EPA / Euro 5 on a 6.5 L tank, at 294 kg net.

The operator works from a 500 m handset, clear of the discharge and off the gradient, and the same chassis takes an 800 mm mower head once the snow season ends.
