VOER has extended the working year of its 1000T-Pro remote-controlled crawler snow thrower with a front-mounted 800 mm mower head. The attachment fits the same mounting point as the standard snow head and takes its drive by belt from the machine's existing 15 HP Loncin 420 engine, so no second power unit, control system or undercarriage is required.

The platform itself is unchanged. In snow configuration the machine clears 1,000 mm (39.37 in.) per pass, works to depths from 2 cm to 60 cm, throws up to 15 m through a 360° chute and climbs to 45° on 120 mm tracks, all from a single 500 m handset with remote-controlled lift.

The addition.  The 800 mm mower head mounts to the same front mounting point as the standard snow head. Nothing behind the mounting frame changes: the Loncin 420 engine, the 120 mm tracks and their two 500 W drive motors, the transmission and the 500 m handset with remote-controlled lift are the same components in both configurations.

Why a second season matters.  Snow clearance is financed across twelve months and worked across a few weeks. A contractor or a municipal depot that buys for snow alone owns an asset that idles for most of the year, and the conventional answer — a second machine for summer — doubles the engine to service, the operator to train and the space to find. The 1000T-Pro's front mounting point is the alternative: convert the machine already on site.

What the mower head does.  The head cuts 800 mm (31.5 in.) per pass at heights from 20 mm to 120 mm (0.79 to 4.72 in.), using a straight-blade pattern. That range covers maintained amenity grass at the low end and rougher growth, orchard rows and verge at the top end, on ground the machine reaches on its own tracks and works from the handset.

The winter side, unchanged.  In snow configuration the machine clears 1,000 mm (39.37 in.) per pass at working depths from 2 cm to 60 cm, throws up to 15 m and discharges through a 360° chute set from the handset. It climbs to 45° on 120 mm tracks, carries a 6.5 L fuel tank and starts by remote, key or recoil, backed by a 24 V 20 Ah battery and an on-board 27 V 2,000 W generator. The platform measures 1,460 × 1,060 × 860 mm at 294 kg net and is certified to EPA / Euro 5.

The changeover stays at the front of the machine.  Only the front attachment and its drive belt are affected: the engine, the tracks, the transmission, the handset and the remote-controlled lift are all untouched. No specialist tooling is required, no second control system has to be commissioned, and no adjustment is needed behind the mounting frame.

Ordering, packing and freight.  Host and snow head pack at 1,660 × 1,160 × 1,060 mm and 340 kg, loading 12 units to a 20 ft container and 28 to a 40 ft. The mower head ships separately at 1,020 × 950 × 600 mm and 110 kg, so a dealer can hold heads against demand rather than ordering them with every machine.

Operating notes

• Keep the machine in clear line of sight while operating. The 500 m control range is an operating limit, not a working distance; shorten it wherever terrain, trees or structures break the view.

• Keep people and animals clear of the cutting area whenever the mower head is running, and never allow anyone to stand in line with the discharge chute.

• Wear eye and hearing protection when working close to the machine.

• Stop the engine before changing an attachment, clearing a blockage, or inspecting the cutting chamber or blades.

• Keep all guards and shields fitted whenever the engine is running.
